You know how they sometimes say if you just keep repeating something, it becomes true? Well, it worked for Nicki Minaj. The self-proclaimed "Harajuku Barbie" is now literally a Barbie. Barbie manufacturer Mattel has created one single Nicki Minaj Barbie to be auctioned off for charity. The doll comes equipped with all the Nicki necessities: a pink wig, a Barbie necklace (how meta) and that "Super Bass" smile. But get your checkbooks ready, Barbz -- bids start at $1,000...Peep more after the jump....
Fans and/or doll collectors can bid on the doll beginning Wednesday, Dec. 7, through Monday, Dec. 19, at CharityBuzz.com. Barbie spokeswoman Stefani Yocky said about the Nicki Barbie, "Nicki is a big part of pop culture...as well as a big Barbie fan... It's really exciting for us that she's been so generous to allow us to create this one-of-a-kind doll." All proceeds from the doll go to Project Angel Food, which provides food for men, woman and children affected by HIV and AIDS.
