Today, a Judge agreed to push back the sentence date to Sept 3rd 2009. Rapper Max B (born Charly Wingate) entered a New Jersey courtroom to learn the duration of his prison stay after his high profile murder case came to a close last month. Max was found guilty on aggravated manslaughter, two counts of felony murder, three counts of armed robbery, and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery for his role in a 2006 heist that left one man dead..
While many fans attempt to accept Max’s certain future behind bars, many, including G-Unit’s Tony Yayo, question the acts of lawyer, Gerald Saluti. During the trial, Saluti openly blogged and even used Twitter to communicate with the public about the status and his feelings regarding Max’s case. Max B has also taken on a new lawyer, whose name is not being given out at the moment, to help with his case.
Fans of Max can continute to write him at:
